Dentistry is too expensive, how can Beachside Family Dentistry help me?
I'll be honest: dentistry can be expensive, especially when we start getting into the larger procedures of replacing teeth or doing a lot of crowns. But the smaller work is less expensive. And unfortunately, the cheapest it's ever going to be is today. It's not going to get any cheaper as costs in the economy continue to go up year after year.
Now, that doesn't help people afford things. At Beachside Family Dentistry, we have some different payment options, and I have a treatment coordinator, Cindy, who's very good at going over what those different options are to try and help make your care affordable so that you can get the care that you need, get healthy and comfortable, and maybe just have the smile that you've always wanted. We want to be able to help you get what you want and need.
One of the concerns that some of my patients can have is, I'm too old to spend this much money on myself. I'm concerned about that because I want my patients, no matter what age, to be able to chew their food completely. When we start swallowing food whole or in partial chunks, we have stomach issues and intestinal issues. We don't get as many nutrients from our food as we do when we can chew it completely. There's a physiological benefit to having your teeth and keeping your teeth. There's also the comfort of being able to chew your favorite foods. Who wants that steak? Who wants that thick pizza crust, that chewy pizza crust? Those are hard to chew, especially if you don't have enough teeth or if your teeth are very fragile.
And then also being able to smile and not be ashamed of your smile. People who love their teeth smile more. And when you smile more, you're happier. It's just facts, and it sounds a little corny, but it is true. If it makes you happier, if you're able to chew your food well, it's money well spent instead of saving it and not being comfortable.
It's not about how much money is spent and how much time you're going to get out of it. It's really that you're spending your money to ensure how much pleasure and comfort you're going to have for the rest of your years. And you need to make that decision for yourself.
