For the patient who is missing teeth, we offer implant dentistry at our office in Indialantic. This can take two forms—the replacement of single teeth and the replacement of all the teeth on the upper or lower arch with implant-supported dentures.
Single-Tooth Replacement
For a single tooth, a slender titanium post (the implant) is placed in the bone of the jaw. A porcelain crown is then attached to this post.
Implant Dentures
To secure dentures in the mouth, they are attached to carefully placed dental implants. Finally, patients can talk, laugh and eat with confidence that their dentures will not move.

Implant Process
We work with the finest and most trusted dental surgeons to place the implant for our patients, and then follow this with preparation of a clean, strong porcelain crown. First, the implant is placed in the bone and then it’s allowed to heal. As the bone heals, it bonds with the titanium of the implant.
Next, we create a durable porcelain replacement tooth to restore the smile. This replacement tooth is called a “crown.” We anchor this crown securely to the dental implant and our patient’s smile is now restored.
We also offer fixed, implant-supported bridges.
Implant Maintenance
A patient with a dental implant needs only to care for this tooth like the natural teeth—brushing twice a day, flossing daily and regular cleanings and examinations at our office. With proper care, a dental implant can last the rest of a patient’s life.
