What should a new patient expect during their first visit?
First visit is pretty simple and easy. It's all about getting to know you and your smile. It's a perfect time to bring up any concerns, cosmetic things that you want done, any anxieties or sensitivities, and just getting to know you and how to go from there. You'll meet the doctor, and we'll come up with a good plan for you.
What should I expect if I'm nervous or afraid?
If you're nervous and afraid walking into Beachside Family Dentistry, you can expect a calm and judgement free zone. We're not here to lecture you or make you feel bad about anything. We just want you to feel comfortable.
What should I expect if I come in with dental pain?
What you should expect when you come in with dental pain at Beachside Family Dentistry, we're suckers for patients that are in pain. So, even if it's later in the day, the doctor will make sure to find time to see you. The emergency visits usually entail an X-Ray to diagnose what's going on and a check-up with the doctor. Once the doctor sees what's going on, hopefully we can find you a solution to get you out of pain.
What happens after my appointment?
Well, first of all, we like to make sure you go home, and you're comfortable and pain-free. We always do a follow-up call to see how you're doing, make sure we have a clear plan of what's next, and get you scheduled accordingly.
What can I expect in terms of communication and transparency?
As a team, we make sure that you feel informed and educated on your cost and treatment and we walk you through every step of the way.
